High Country CampingA few shots from a ski/camping trip in the Snowy Mountains a couple of weeks back. Weather and skiing were excellent. I'm pretty happy with a few of the pictures i got on the trip and would appreciate C&C.

Wow! Haven't done a proper critique in a while so here goes.
#1 Gorgeous, love the blue tones, the star trailes. If anything I'd just dodge the RHS a little so it doesn't darken off as dramatically but only a small adjustment. #2 This one.. something is right for me, it looks a little soft, how to guage at this side, and not overly keen on the B&W conversion. #3 I really like this shot, I'd love to see a bigger version, I love how the ice and clouds plent in, and the whole 3D weird depth of field as the bottom RHS is in the foreground but the top RHS feels like its almos tin the background. Very cool #4 Gorgeous, my monitor probably needs another calibration but it seems too pink, but that is probably how it was, the snow is very reflective.
Thanks Craig,
It's amzing what a fresh set of eyes can pick up. I hadn't noticed the falloff on the right side of 1. I really like 2 myself but now you point it out i can see lack of sharpness on the original. May have to go back and look at the RAW conversion on that one. I may have over PP'd 4 - I'll have to reduce the saturation a little. Cheers, MT
I really like these, particularly the first three. They make me wish I was somewhere else right now.
As stated above, the last one does seem a little too pink.
Wonderful, esp #1.

That's outstanding photography! I used to love camping in the snow and your pics bring it all back! I love the first image with the warm colours played off against the cool background. Nice!
