Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

This time, Castrol Edge Jamboree @ Willowbank QLD last weekend
Event rained out sat after 20 qualifying runs.
Event cancelled sunday after hot sun caused concrete to sweat the week's worth of rain it had absorbed..
New date is 13th october meaning i'm back up there for the weekend..
Here's some photos..

#2 is a ripper shot and especially with all the togs on the wall goin' for the same shot But I'm guessing you're the only one with a view from the back?
I tried commenting on it in the gallery section, but couldn't embed the image

Just did a test, it worked
I was copying the URL, but the right click 'copy image address' worked a treat.
Cheers.

2 is the clear standout, amazing shot!!!
Some critique: in 3, it seems the grill and front of the car (especially the numberplate) is a bit soft as is the rear of the car, but the bonnet is tack sharp. Might need a bit more DOF? Similar thing in 1 too (grill is much sharper than the rest). 4 doesn't do a lot for me on its own, needs more smoke/fire/tyre ripples/wheelstands/dragons/etc I think.

Guys,
I'd love to meet up with you all out at the rescheduled Jamboree, but I'll be in Tassie recovering from a week of shooting an AFL comp down there.
I might have to do something about getting out there next year.
Cheers
Simon PS. Kyle. Definitely love #2. The others are all good as well. What were you using for these particular shots?
