Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. F1 shots from the weekend.Haven't seen any, so I though I'd post some...

Great shots.
Be mindful of those on dialup though - that post is going to take a long, long time for someone on dialup to finish loading. Maybe restrict your post to just 3 or 4 shots, or put a 'dialup warning' content in your post title. Cheers Justin
These are great! Shame about the weird banding caused by the fence in 10 and 11, but great effort trying to overcome it.
I read somewhere that general admission is only allowed a 300mm or less lens at the GP. Not that hard to hide a teleconverter. ![]() Ben
Unless its a VR ![]() Great photos! I am hoping that mine turn out as near as good as these when I go to the V8's this weekend! Nikon D80, Nikkor VR 80-400mm, Nikkor 18-135mm (kit lense), 90mm 2.8 macro, Tamron 2x AF TC

Hi Methd, interesting collection with 12 looking almost like a step back in time.
Just so you know we have a 4 image limit per post, but no problem with links for more images. This is so the viewing experience is as good for as amny members as possible.
oh thanks for that, i'll limit it next time ![]() @ vodka - agreed with the fencing comment, but safety comes first i guess. There's really no need for more than 200mm... just the fence gets in the way, and those cars, they go damn quick !
# 1 and 2 are my picks. i like the angle, crop, colours, and clarity. good shots.
good to see you can take a camera and lens in with you ![]() Nikon D70

I agree. ![]() Probably couldn't have got that lens in... ![]() Daniel Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm

you're right, they actually checked my lens and knew about the 300mm limit. far cry from the australian open tennis where the officials had no idea on what was the limit/size, was harassed the entire day.
can you get in with a 70-200?, and hide a TC in your pants...

for sure... all he checked was the number on the lens. u could even get away with a 400mm and whack a 300mm sticker/plate on it i guess ![]() Last edited by methd on Thu Mar 22, 2007 12:13 am, edited 1 time in total.
