Miss Universe 2006 and Thai beauty contestWas shooting to be at Thai culture and food festival at Federation square in Melbourne last Sunday. One of the guests was Miss Universe 2005, the Canadian (formerly Russian) Natalie Glebova who crowned the beauty contest winner at the end of the festival.

Nice shots.......1 is the winner here.....nice, light and airy feel to it.....great "fashion" shot.
Dan
Nicely captured, she really knows how to carry herself well, and from the shots has a really lovely complextion. Well done, the first is excellent, the 2nd is great, shame the timing or your position weren't a little better in the last, but given the situation still a good shot. I assume you were using flash in the first two, may I ask what settings ?
Thanks Craig,
I agree about the timing in the last photo. I was definitely using fill flash in the first two, whilst I can't remember the exact settings (the exif would be included in the files), and I will have a look at them when I get home tonight, I'm pretty sure there was -1 or -2 flash exposure comp, iTTL and may be shot at f7.1 or 8.. will get back to you on this one. Alex
Thanks for looking into the settings, whatever they were you nailed them, as its really well exposed, give the direct sunlight and shadow.
Hi Craig, Checked the settings 1/500 f5 both with iTTL flash set to -0.3 EV. ISO 200. Cheers Alex
