Birds at MurramurrangI finally got around to PPing some shots from a trip to Murramurrang last December.
Taken with the 70-200VR. Some also with 2xTC. ![]() ![]() ![]() http://www.greencardigan.com/gallery/d/ ... C_5475.jpg http://www.greencardigan.com/gallery/d/ ... C_5748.jpg
The second shot is my favorite. The bird looks like its got attitude. I'd crop the left side by about a third though to reduce the OOF stuff in the foreground.
Just my opinion...and not worth the screen its printed on.. ![]()
#2 needs some serious red eye reduction!
![]() ![]() It's the pick of the shots here, with a good low angle and background separation. #1 is also good, but probably could do with a slight softening on the vignetting. I feel that it's a bit distracting, and overpowers the subject.
Nice photos ,greencardigan,
but for me the first one is the best, in fact IMHO is a terrific photo ,beautiful contrast between black and white. If anything you could crop a touch in front, making the seagulls stand out more, just an idea ![]() cheers , NeoN.
