This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

i left exposure up to the camera, as it was sunny then cloudy every few minutes. most shots came out underexposed. i used max +0.7 exp comp, but backed off when i saw any highlights. i hate highlights. maybe a filter would do the job?

Agreed Craig :)

Doing well with the panning phepsi  Don't see any issues with exposure in these three.

thanks, alpha_7, that was my goal. i started out with a shutter of about 1/600, but they didn't look like they were moving, so i used around 1/250 for the rest :)

cheers, kyle, i did the levels and brought up the exposure a bit, but the masters look flat. i shoot RAW, (not confident enough to shoot JPEG). my RAW's always look pretty dull but.

thanks, matt. not sure exactly what filter, but i shot in shutter priority and so when sunny the camera was choosing f13-f16 which is more DOF than i'd like for racing, seeing as there's so much crap in the backgrounds at these tracks.

These appear to be much sharper than your first post.
They are great.

thanks, colin :)

it was hit and miss in terms of sharpness. i know the lens is not to blame!
mostly me, and little bit of camera too. more focus points would help and a few more FPS too.
