In Hindsight probably would have better to take these with the 70-300 so i could stand back and shoot.... Instead i had the Tamron 90 on.
Would have been good if i had time to change the Apeture so i could get his nose in focus also.....

Only took two photo's of this critter.... the third would have been a pearler he opened his mouth and hissed at me.... Was too busy retreating tho.

I had a lot of confidence to move in closer, and then i noticed the fangs on the sucker.. at that point he pointed his head in my direction and slowly moved towards me!.
Bananas huh? hmmm.... hopefully he will still be there when i go back down the coast... Are these guys aggressive at all? If you’re alone with your friend in the woods and a tiger’s chasing you, you don’t have to be faster than the tiger, you have to be faster than your friend.
Fangs ???? Blueys don't have fangs !!! They've got dentations in the gums, but not teeth in the strict sense of the word ... but don't let them bite you, YOU could hurt them (well, biting you could cause damage to their mouth
)
Blue tongues (and pink tongues) are a lot about bluff - they puff themselves up a bit, flatten out their bellies to make themselves look bigger, open up their mouth showing their beautiful blue (or pink) tongues, and hiss like the bejesus It's all purely for show, they are definitely not aggresive , and will rather hide than chase you across the backyard !! 
They live on a diet of plant matter, insects anything they can catch I spose, and love snails

Maybe im being a baby or maybe it's got something to do with my phobia of any sharp object like a needle or a tooth piercing the skin!.
