Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

My favourite part of the world called home and I never tire of the walk along the river with the ever changing water colour. I like the gentleness of this scene with the lack of frenetic activity usual when in season. Any opinions on improvement folks?

I can relate to your appreciation of a quiet place that is usually busy. The place my dad grew up in is much like that - a quiet seaside place that has since become much busier - with a huge influx of wealth into the area.

I really like your photo :)

The only sound to be heard was the click of the shutter - very tranquil :)

Thanks for the comments folks. The crop on the right hand boat was an agonised decision which just had to stay as one direction was a mess and the other just cut into the boat behind.
