Nyah's bad hair day...

I took these this morning just before midday. Not the best time to be taking pictures, but she was having so much fun that I just had to take some shots.

This last one was taken a few months back on her first birthday. I never got around to posting it so I thought I'd tack it on here. It was taken with the 50mm f/1.4

I love the last pic. It may not be pin sharp, but the composition, lighting and captured expression of childish wonder make it a beautiful image.

Well done. :D

Thanks guys. I like the last one also. It may not be technically perfect but I still love it. I can really see her developing personality showing through.

Murray

Thanks. Lighting was just a little bit of direct fill flash, nothing fancy.

Unfair advantage.

How can the rest of us compete? We only have sunsets, sand dunes, trees and ducks ;)

Love the first two - and there is something about the third that is captivating... She is a brilliant subject - does she like being photographed? Even if not, you are getting some wonderful "keepers".

Love the first two, Murray.

If you had a mirror to show her, she wouldn't be smiling
:D

Cheers

Nyah has had a camera in her face since she was a minute old, so she is very comfortable around one. It's a bit harder to get her to stay still these days though.
Thanks for your comments, and I have to admit that having Nyah as a model makes it easier for me to get a good photo; although from what I've seen, you guys are doing a pretty good job with your subjects. I'm impressed by some of the artistic talent on display here. :)
Regards,
Murray
