Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Hi all,
here are a couple of the images from the weekend. The entire gallery can be seen at http://tassied.smugmug.com
It was a little foggy in the morning....
Now I know it's in here somewhere...?
Cheers

Some great shots there David, and on your smugmug site too. Where exactly in Tas was the Safari? It didn't seem to get much advertising.

Hi there John,
Thanks for the comments. The rally was held down and around Geevston. I thought it would have been better advertised as well.

Fantastic shots, I really love the Subaru WRX front on, as its dipping the nose into the corner, such a sharp image.

The wrx does it for me. Apart from the colour and sharpness, the facial expressions really tell a story. The driver looks nice and relaxed and the navigator looks awfully nervous! Well captured.

Ooh, you're getting me all excited about the SA leg in a couple of weeks!
I've been negotiating accreditation for a while now and am yet to hear if I'll get an "all access" pass. Here's hoping.
Great images David, love the boot shot..little bit different!

Look forward to seeing your images, I was emailed the forms for that leg as well, but the drift nationals are on down here the same weekend so figured it was cheaper to travel to launceston that to Adelaide.

Yup, fair call!
Drifting's still fun though - similar concept to rally in a way!

It sure is, still Motorsport I did do quite a bit of thinking though, would have been nice to get back out to Mt. Crawford (I grew up in Adelaide and spent many a training camp out there).
I ended up telling myself there will be next year

Well if you believe any of the rumours floating about we could possibly score a round of WRC in the not-so-distant future!
I don't care how much the tix for that would be, I'd be there for every minute of it!
