The new crop is much better, and the 2nd pic is nice just a shame the butterfly isn't in focus a little more.
they are indeed lotus flowers
lo·tus also lo·tos (l?'t?s) n. An aquatic plant (Nelumbo nucifera) native to southern Asia and Australia, having large leaves, fragrant, pinkish flowers, a broad, rounded, perforated seedpod, and fleshy rhizomes. The edible seed, leaf, or rhizome of this plant. Any of several similar or related plants, such as the water lilies Nymphaea caerula or N. lotus. I like the crop of the shot I was going to ask were they were but HK is a bit far to go to get some photos ![]() Nice work anyway cheers doug Way to much photography gear is never enough!
beautiful - almost ethereal !!!
Lighting is gorgeous ... if you didn't want to crop the first shot, you could just clone the ciggy out? Well done' Rel Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! -Ansel Adams
