Sunrise silhouetteYet another picture from the D200, I got up this morning to catch the sunrise and a couple were enjoying it with me, I asked if I could get them to pose in a shot for me.
they obliged and here is the result. ![]() larger version http://static.flickr.com/46/141709677_4b1a43a722_o.jpg Comments and critique appreciated. Michael Are we there yet?
I think this could have been better if it wasn't such a tight crop - nice colour and exposure looks right, but try wider next time

Nice work Michael. Silhouettes are an area with which I haven't done a lot of experimenting.

fair enough. just thinking it would of made it more personal as in you would know who was sitting there. i can tell that the person on the right is a girl, from her hair (i hope im right). just a suggestion. but very nice shot, it looks very high up in the mountains btw? true?
Yeh I noted your advice I am under the same impression with the hood, as for the mountain bit well its on top of toowoomba highest peak at the lookout at picnic point. it overlooks the lockyer valley. Are we there yet?
What makes this a very personal pic are the fingers showing on the young ladies shoulder - very nice.
Michael - Can one assume that if you had four layers of clothing on your upper body that the lower was buck naked ![]() ![]() Chris
