Sydney Royal Easter Show
A few of my shots from the show last Saturday. Wasn't really happy with any of my pics. Had trouble with the harsh lighting at the wood chop.
How could I have improved these pics? 1. 1/320, f/5.6, +1.33EV

(misc Nikon stuff)
I used a PS action that was mentioned a while ago on this forum. Seems to work nicely. I added a bit of noise to this as well.
I quite liked this series and the light didn't bother me too much. My only issue was with the wood chop, he doesn't stand out enough from the background crowd.
But I see you had it cranked open to 5.6 so there wasn't much you could do unless you had a bigger lens. Nikon D70s, Nikkor 18-70, Sigma 70-300DG APO

Nice shots overall, think trying to find that prime position to take photos would of made you more happy.
Eg car coming towards you sliding instead of a rear end shot of the Holden. If the skater was more on your side it would have been a ripper shot maybe Ben Yu
