awesome contrast! i am not familiar with canons cameras, was this a post processed black and white or in camera black and white?

Can't put my finger on why this pic doesn't do anything for me...?
I think it may be that fact that the eye of the pelican is normallly the thing that jumps out at you, it may be because it is in B/W? Did you PP this into a B/W? Cheers REE

Yep that's it.
For some reason these birds scare the living day lights out of me. Its all in the eyes. Looking @ your colour one gave me the creeps right away. I know I am SAD ![]() Cheers REE
