Beautiful shots. It has confirmed my decision to find one of these lenses. :)

By the way, which digital are you using? Those shots are crystal clear.

Ha ha, they're lovely shots, though.

I'm guessing that lens costs disgusting amounts of money. I want one.

Thank you all for your kind comments.

I did find the lens easy to adjust to. Although one must be very careful at 200mm and f/2.8 especially hand held.

I am going to a barrell racing event on Friday and Saturday. I shoud see great results as this event is in an indoor arena with very low light. Of course I'll be taking my SB600 (one day I'll upgrade to an 800). I will post some samples thereafter.

Fortigurn; yep this little tank was fairly expensive. I got this online at OneCall for a mere US$935 with a five-year warranty. BTW, this model is the AF not the Silent Wave (AF-S). I am very surprised at how fast the beast will focus. I does tend to hunt a bit but not bad. If you plan your shot correctly, shoot in C mode, and square your target, you shouldn't have any problems. For example:

I'll be posting some trucks, motorcycles, and maybe snowmobiles (after I completely heal my dislocated shoulder).

As always, I appreciate the comments and absolutely enjoy this forum.

Thanks a million.

David

That is disturbingly expensive. I wonder if I can find one 2ndhand here in Taiwan?

And I wonder how I can explain it to my wife?
