there is a lot going on in that shot... very nicely done!
be interested in seeing the results of a touch more contrast? cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
Excellent shot, what camera gear do you use to get such a shot and how much post shot work did you do on it?
LOVE it Fuji Finepix s9500>>>D70s 18-70 lens

That is a beautifully exposed pic to get so much range in with minimally blown highlights. I also like the fact you've chosen to make this a portrait shot since my eyes very naturally progress through the image from the bright sun down to the lovely details in the pools of water. Peter

xerubus-thanks! I did try a bit more contrast but detail starts to go away with early morning shots when you do this. I don't do much PP besides a balance with the curves and sharpening
gunn-This was with a NIKON D2x, Nikon 18-35 and a singh ray 2 stop soft grad filter Thanks Peter, I was about to give up but oddly when you look through the lens sometimes a picture just eventuates
Great image Paul. Exposure spot on lovely foreground interest with the portrait format combined with the red clay edging leading the eye around to the sunset. LOve the umbrella like spary of light from the sun behind the clouds that tends to frame the image nicely. Terrific

I really like the range of textures and soft colours in this image. The exposure is nicely balanced. Nicely done.
