Matt - one word for these my friend - 'lovely'
As I said yesterday, you have a wonderful eye for composition. Show us more!! ![]() #4 is my favourite! Geoff
Special Moments Photography Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8VR, SB800 & some simple studio stuff.
Matt these are even better then your other set.
I absolutely love #2, and would be blowing it up and hanging it had I taken it, (I'd consider buying a print myself). #1 Has great atmosphere, makes me feel like I'm in a mineshaft, or a absolutely huge cellar, you are left wondering how bit the space really is, and what could be hiding in the darkness. #3 It doesn't amaze me like #2 but it's still composed very well, I'd suggest a B&W conversion #4 A really interesting shot, it seems very grey to me, but again maybe just because it's overcast ? #5 I like it but the light is distracting, I'd suggest a tighter crop keeping to the left hand side to avoid the light.
Craig
Thanks for your comments. I think a lot of the forum members appreciate the time you take to post them. In reference to #5...you think the light is distracting....I think it's atmospheric. That's the fun of it all. ![]() ![]() Regards
Matt. K
Certianly is the fun of it, if we all saw stuff the same, we'd get bored very easily! BTW I just have to say I keep coming back to this shot, IMHO this weeks POTW is ...... ![]()
Glen - If that was my cellar I'd be a happy man (and I don't have a garden - just grass & trees)
Craig - I'd like to take a bet with you on that one. I'm POTW chooserer this week and have now made my choice and... It's NOT that one ![]() Peter

Matt
Like Mikhail I have near identical shots to #2 and #3. I've now decided not even to wast PP time on mine since these are so much better than what I have. And like Craig, the bottle shot is my fave. Peter
