Some more on the theme of "street rubbish"The trouble with me, as I see it, is that once I have what I think to be a good idea, I just over do it. So with this "rubbish" theme I've got buzzing around in my head I present these for C&C. Be as honest as you want people.

I like the subject matter but the lighting doesn't work for me, the harsh light on the bottle and can in shots #1 and #2
I like #3 its a little sureal and kind of goes well with some of Wayne's work (Pirostitch).
Bloody hell Matt - you make the ordinary extra ordinary!!
Brilliant ![]() Nothing else to say. Geoff
Special Moments Photography Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8VR, SB800 & some simple studio stuff.
I like the last one . The first two don't really work for me . May sound weird but whats turning me off them is that the logo on the can and bottle aren't clear. My eye is drawn straight to the bottle and the can but i can't help thinking if only that was twisted around a bit so i could see the label.

#1: I like it... the half visible label along with still being half full works for me - abandoned! (maybe the beer wasn't so good). Strong contrasting colours between the green bottle and purple wall. Good elements - not cluttered, complementary shapes with the round bottle between angular surfaces.
#2: I just don't like those pavers/bricks. ever. ![]() #3: Excellent. Strong colour contrast between the road and almost glowing markers. It's particularly apt that there's a "?" next to a Telstra pit ![]() Nice series between this and your previous efforts.
