Looking for tripod with clipsI am in the hunt for a new pair of legs. I did some searching around this forum and also on the www.
I want something that is light but strong enough for my D200+70-200VR. Also it must have clips, as I prefer using clips. As for heads, I will be putting a quick release pistol/hand grip on it. Any sugguestions? TIA Vince
If you really want one of those grips then I can thoroughly recommend the Manfrotto 322R. It is a very nice secure head and will handle the weight of the camera and lens that you mention. I have one which now resides on my monopod. Last edited by Oneputt on Thu Jan 12, 2006 11:50 am, edited 1 time in total.

 Shutterbug,
The thread on tripods from yesterday might be useful: http://www.dslrusers.net/viewtopic.php?t=13187&highlight= D.
Thanks guys I did see that thread. Had a look at the Manfrotto 055PRO, looks great but heavy. Is there anything light with clips?
