I thought I'd put up a few shots from over the past week which have, what I think is, lovely colour.

A summary in colourWell youv'e probably all heard me crying from having to return Kevin's Nikkor 200 Macro (thanks for the opportunity Kevin). A truly awesome lens and I hope my new Sigma 180 gets somewhere close to it's performance when it arrives.

Talk about going out with a bang! I'll take a copy of the first one, A3+ size, got the perfect spot for it...
![]() ![]() ![]() Fantastic. If I'm alone in a forest and my wife is not around to hear what I say, am I still wrong ??
Who would of thought that a 200mm Macro lens would be an optical masterpiece? But I've used this lens and it sings however you use it. As soon as I can sell a kidney I'm gonna get me one of those.
Regards

These are just beautiful images. That Nikkor 200 must be a magic lens. I am going to start reading up on it right now! Any of these would look great in a frame. Was this using lab colour in PP?
In the end we know Nothing, but in the meantime Learn like crazy.

Yep, it sure is a sweet lens.
No, these were almost straight out of the camera. A little saturation and USM. Cheers

I'm with Leon on this. That second image has a beautiful, haunting quality to it. It's a great example of how you don't need bright, saturated or highly contrasting colours to make a great image. I could look at that one for hours. It's very peaceful like looking at the reflected images on a still lake. Peter

Thanks Guys, printed the second one on A4 and it came up a treat. Big white mask and black frame should look good.
