Kevin

All are of your usual high standard, but #5, 8 and 9 are the standouts for me. Not sure if the LAB mode makes any difference or not - either way these are superb.

Wow! Some great shots. #2 stands out for me.

Canon 20D and a bunch of lovely L glass and a 580EX. Benro tripod. Manfrotto monopod. Lowepro and Crumpler bags. And a pair of Sigma teleconverters, and some Kenko tubes.

Excellent work!...now imagine them printed up at 20' x 16" or larger and professionally matted and framed. Stunning!

Stunning Images all of them. Clarity and colours are inspiring. Noosa Botanical Gardens? Is this colour intensity due to Lab exclusively? Can anyone comment on this as a technical issue?

Beautiful images Kevin. #5 and #8 are terrific. Like Peter not sure if LAB colour has made a difference. It would be interesting to see one of those images tackled one in LAB and one not.

Hmm, interesting... What modifications did you actually make in LAB mode, and would those modifications have been harder/impossible to make in, say, RGB mode?

Cheers
Steffen.

Well Kevin I do believe that LAB colour has a little more punch than RGB, however, whether an abberation on this particular shot or not the tonality of the yellow seems to break up a little in the centre of the LAB colour image just behind the stamens stalk. Can you see what I mean or is it my screen? :)
cheers
