Big V,
What a great demonstration of the power of a shroud of darkness. The final daylight shot defines merely a mass of human caviar .... but strike the sun and give each blob of caviar a candle and there is a charm and bonding not seen in broad daylight. _______________

Loz,
If you saw our silhouettes side-by-side you'd think I am bloody Meatloaf. Cheers, _______________

Great work BigV, as has been said the night time shots are great and capture the mood nicely. I'd say #1 is my pick of the bunch I like the contrast between the big flood lights and the tiny pin pricks of candle light.
Streetshooter and others, thanks for the kind words. I included the daylight shot as a comparison and agree that it does not capture the mood of the event but it does give an idea of the location and relative small size of Elder Park. We were lucky that the cricket was being played at Adelaide Oval - boy is that a pretty ground, DanielA once posted an excellent stiched shot of it taken during the day - recommend looking at that one as it shows the majestic beauty of that sports ground.

They look good Big V. At this size I find it hard to make out any detail. Your large version on Smugmug shows it better.
