From the talented young students of the Whitehouse Institute of design. The fashions were just brilliant!

Good pick up!
I made a print and removed the mark beforehand. Not sure how it slipped through to the virtual image.

Very nice work! Were you the guy with the canon fitted with a telephoto?
All of my images were taken with a 50mm f1.4 and fill flash.

Matt,

No, that was somebody else. But, if you have more photos, for second half you should find me somewhere on the right of catwalk - guy in light blue t-shirt. First half I spend quite close to you -staying next to column. Guy with Canon took my place wehen I left.

I agree, few of those designs were really promising. Also I like how walks where aranged, even if it was very difficult to shoot.

Good practice :)

Well i think you both did well, must be hard at an event like this and using that dreded flash.LOL Can be a pain at times but yeh spose oneday i will get used to using it, fill flash is ok, i had a problems in GN mode everytime i set a distance after the shot i have to readjust the settings so if i set it to like 10 mtrs you would think it would stay there, anyhow Matt well done.

Well done for a very different routine 3 models at a time straffing a short runway with a dark spot of lighting in the middle, can't wait to see your other images it was a long show. I bodged up so many pics during my first shows. Either way it was fun having other members share in the fun

Krystian you have a unique perspective on the runway well done
being single you should of stayed for the afterparty it went off, lots of nice models and designers getting down to phunky beats on the catwalk.

Nnnnsic,

I think the last one if actually the first one, when first year students presented their work. However models not necessary have to be students :)

wendellt,

Yes, lighting and choreography was difficult. However still much brighter then on jazz concert I was shooting recently. At least 3 stops brighter.

I could stay. Well, lack of experience :)

Sounds about right.
She's a first year and she'd probably go right for the lime-light in getting her picture taken.

No... although she's not half bad either... the one in the middle in that front view looks like her.

Although, of course I can't be sure because there are others in the crowd, but it looks enough like her.

And just to show people I'm still on topic, both Krystian and Matt have pulled some great shots out here!
