Nice shots and welcome.
With the garnet shot there seems to be a 'glow' around the bird.... is this from postprocessing? The eyes on the two spider shots are great! cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
For some reason I cannot view the first two pictures. All I have is the dreaded red crosses.

Is that better? The 1st two were posted on Photo.net?? Anyone else host pics on Photo.net??
Awesome shots!! The first spider shot is particularly good in my opinion. I also love spider shots!!

I like the two spider shots the best. The garnett due to the 'halo' detracts a bit. Nice composition, and it suits B&W by the way
![]() The spider shots almost show a kind of personality, the eyes are crisp and they are just plain good shots. If these are you first posts, I can't wait to see the others! 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc

Thanks for the comments, I might reprocess the garnet without the 'halo'. If I find the time. ![]()
That's better
