Port StephensThree pics taken at Port Stephens at the weekend. All shots were taken with the 24-120 VR. Port Stephens is about 3 hours north of Sydney and a great spot to take a diversity of shots all in the one area. See my Port Stephens and Stockton Dunes galleries for more from here

Peter ......... not as good as some of your previous work......... but with better light, these same shots would be improved. But we work with what is there at the time of shooting, rather that wait for the perfect moment........
Cheers ....bp....
Difference between a good street photographer and a great street photographer.... Removing objects that do not belong... happy for the comments, but .....Please DO NOT edit my image..... http://bigpix.smugmug.com Forever changing
Bernie Thank you for the honest observation. I concur wholeheartedly. Of all the shots I took this weekend (400 or so) the only ones I was trully happy with were the flower shots in this post. This is the lowest keeper rate I have ever had from an outing and it's a bit disheartening. Leigh (nnnnsic) was around for most of these and I just hope he was more successful since it was his first visit to the area. He even used one of those film camera thingies for some shots ![]() Peter

I like #1. Curve of water line, smuges of water and pebles on first play play good abstract. There is only one thing in this shot I dont like: green on the top. It takes attention out of the subject. It is intrusive.

Thanks. For #1 I actually tried it without out the green, but didn't like the aspect ratio. I'll have another play with this one tonight. Peter

Peter, i like these shots but i would have to say #2 does it for me. Ok #1 is nice with the rocks in it, but like the water is coming through the break in the rocks.
