TC-20E II QuestionIs the TC-20E II (2x) AF-S, AF-I Teleconverter able to Auto Focus using the D70 and a 70-200 VR lens?
I've seen some specs none of which mention the D70 as being able to auto focus, but D1 etc can. Not sure if they are just old specs or not. Regards Tony All I know, is that I don't know enough.....
Yes, Nikon TC-20E II 2x Teleconverter for D-AF-I & AF-S Lenses, and it works on all the Nikon SLR or DSLR.
The results are not so good with the TC-20 with 70-200VR on DSLR, often softness is always an issue with this combo. Birddog114

Birddog,
are you saying the TC20E II works well with the 70-200VR and the TC20E has softness issues or are they the same TC? If that is the case (softness issues) is there a TC that works well with the lens to still maintain sharp images? Regards Tony All I know, is that I don't know enough.....
They are the same as people want to call, nothing difference. The only TC which I recommend is the Nikon TC 1.7, members have lot of great results with it in the past. Birddog114
