Got a thin skin? Then look elsewhere. Post a link to an image that you've made, and invite others to offer their critiques. Honesty is encouraged, but please be positive in your constructive criticism. Flaming and just plain nastiness will not be tolerated. Please note that this is not an area for you to showcase your images, nor is this a place for you to show-off where you have been. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Hi
I just came back from the Bathurst Rally ,no time to sort shots but thought I would post this one.
I was lucky to meet up with Raskil (Alan), he looked after me and drove me to all the good spots.
I consider myself lucky to be part of this group and the wonderful people that make it possible.
Thank you again Alan and I hope I can return the favour.

Jeff, another good motorsport moment and this is a nice shot you have got here and i too will look forward to seeing some more. It is great that we have our community as you said to share, meet, swap info and just general good time. I have not had a chance to get a long way from home but do treasure the new friendships i have made and try to promote our from at everychance i get.

Meeting Waspo= Jason was great, and the mini meet i had in Adelaide was great, so nice to go to an event like this and enjoy it and get lots of great pics in good company.
Look forward to more pics.

Don't mean to hijack a post, but thought I might as well post some of my pics in here rather than start a new thread.

Like jeff said, we caught up on the Saturday and a good day was had, finished off with a lager or two. It was great to spend the day with someone who enjoys his photography as much as I do, and understands the importance of getting the perfect shot. Thank Jeff for putting up with me draggin you round the forest trying to fing some of those bloody sponsor signs :D

Jeff, think yourself lucky you didn't go out to the forest on the Sunday. It absolutely bucketed down. 1.5 inches of rain in the morning alone. Luckily my wet weather gear (on me and my camera) worked a treat, but jesus, does it make it hard to get a good shot. At one stage the fog was so thick I could hardly photograph cars 20 metres away. Unreal!!!

A subaru sponsored by a beer company. God bless them!

Image

The toyota corolla of Evans and Evans. You can see the rain falling, sort of looks like noise. It was PISSING down

Image

My client wanted spectator photos. I found one on the sunday in the rain, I don't think this is what they wanted though....

Image

The toyota corolla of Barker and Long. This was the final super special stage, cut short due to rain.

A great day was had and I learned many things about working for a clilent over the four days of the rally. I have to say that rallies are far better to photograph than V8's, much more excitement. Get to one if you have the chance folks.

(and now, back to processing my 2500 images).
