Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. I dont know how youe have doen it, but looks interesting. I would lift up a bit levels for cyans so texture would be more visible. Now effect is too subtle to hit at first sight.
It looks that is really brokes, isnt it? ![]() Just a thought what if there would be posibility to put a guy behind and make his portrait? ![]() Regards, K.Polak

![]() Broken Through... Over the last few months, we've been renovating our house, adding another floor on top... We've finally reached the stage where they break through the walls and ceilings to put the staircase in... You wouldn't believe the amount of dust in the house... ![]() I'm keeping my camera and kit in the car until they've finished... ![]() Cheers, John

Hi,
This thread hasn't been too busy this month, everybody too busy with Challenge 7. Finally found something, I broke this glass while taking it out of the dishwasher ![]() ![]() Taken with D70s, 50/1.4, 4.5A, 1/1000S. Not much PP, just cropped the base of the glass out, was just sitting on a retaining wall. Ah well, some good things come out of mishaps ![]() Cheers, radar Last edited by radar on Thu Oct 27, 2005 12:26 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Very nice Blackwater... Great concept
There seems to be a halo around the pencil though and almost some ghosting that looks like the lines on the paper have been erased??? How did you do that? Cheers, John

OK, a disappointing number for the October challenge... Time for Krystian Polak to cut & paste the rules into a new thread and set us another challenge for November...
I'll put together a gallery of the October entries soon... Cheers, John
