Hlops's images from the zoo prompted me to dig out some of my own to share with you.

I've always had a thing for Giraffe eyes!

Let's just say this raffe wasn't taking No for an answer...
(actually she [the giraffe] was only after the carrots)

The Blackbuck enclosure is apparently always stripped bare of grass, which makes for a tricky photographic background.
I found the American Bison a difficult subject, and settled on detail shots of the fur:



Not something you see very often (it was actually mid-drink, which is something you see even less often).

The Ring-tailed Lemurs were frolicking on the side of their island away from the cafe area, but around on their side the 100-400mm let me reach across the water...
