I've just been reading a great article by Thom Hogan on his site about "Photographic Goals". It's worth a look.

Thanks mate, reading it now.

It's somewhere that I am stuck just now. Very frustrating.

Thanks for the link to that article. I'm not really at any of those levels, but I guess that's the point. I need to set goals to GET to those levels!

Note to self : set some goals :D

really great article, I have not taken a photo in a couple of months and have not posted an image here in a long time. This article got me thinking and I am off to set my goals and work towards them

Maybe we should have a section/thread here where we can communicate our goals and show our progress.

Thanks again
Cheers
Mak

Great article, and very timely. I've been thinking about new gear and such lately, and trying focus on my frustrations with the current gear, ie why do I want better and what do I want if for. Have set some goals which help crystallise that nicely, and focus on the areas I want to get into.

Thanks for bringing to our attention! Oh, and some of my goals are now very public.

thank you

Hi Bob,

thank you very much for the link to the article.
As Thom says: " You can't get there from here if you don't know where here and there are"

Best regards,
Christian
