Aust VS Brazil...R U watching?Interested to know how many members are actually getting up (or staying up) to watch the game. Banned due to dishonesty and disrespect
I'm off for a snooze now, then I'll be up early in the morning to watch it for sure!
This is IMHO the one game that shouldn't be missed!!! Like MCWB, I'll be flicking between the MotoGP. Had to get that in! Last edited by waspo on Sun Jun 18, 2006 10:33 pm, edited 2 times in total.

I will not be watching, sleep is what this body needs. I will catch up with the results on the radio at 6am in the morning. Then watch the highlights on SBS at 7pm tomorrow night. fozzie When people ask what equipment I use - I tell them my eyes.
I'll probably be sleeping. I've got a theatre meeting tomorrow. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au Contributor for fine magazines such as PC Authority and Popular Science.
 Ahhh,
Finally an advantage of having Monday's off!! Watching for me... If I can stay awake Paul http://www.australiandigitalphotography.com
Living in poverty due to my addiction to NIKON... Is there a clinic that can help me?
I'll be watching! Which is why I'm rolling off now for a few hours sleep first... And if I'm very lucky, getting back to sleep for another couple of hours before having to head off at 6:30 for work... urrghh...
I'll be watching, but then it's a little easier for us up here in the northern hemisphere!
I'd love to see you guys put in a good result, but I think the Brazillians have something to prove after there last performance and your team may be in for a rough ride! Sorry to be a party pooper - but I'll be sleeping. Been crook for a while now and I need to look after myself. Plus I can't get SBS at my place but, even if I did, soccer isn't my thing, World Cup or not. Don't get me wrong, I wish the lads luck and hope they win tomorrow and go through to win the lot but I've just never been able to get into it. Fo all you ardent fans out there, and I know you are legion, I hope you get the result you want. I'll be trying to beat a far more competitive viral adversary. I'll probably be doing the same as Fozzie. Somehow I don't think my 3 y.o. will let me sleep in... - Danny

I'm not a huge soccer (football) fan but having the Aussies play Brazil in a World Cup match doesn't happen too often, so I'm in. I worked all weekend with 4.3am rises and now it's my turn to have days off and sleep in tommorow. Yeehaa! I'll be needing these tomorrow, though... Cheers Michael
Have to watch, no matter what the outcome.
Would have taped it if the video wasn't broken, but if something unreal happened like, well, who knows it is going to be unavoidable news tomorrow. D300, D200, (D70 - now with daughter) and heaps of Nikon stuff. http://www.pbase.com/steven_hight
WOW I'm quite amazed at the results so far........I'm not watching it as I am up at 6.30am for work and I know I won't be able to operate at all if I watched the match. Good luck to the Socceroos and good luck to all of you for tomorrow who are daring enough to watch the game! ghost Banned due to dishonesty and disrespect
Set to record on the IQ - good nights sleep and then watch it in the morning (I work from home ) Chris -------------------------------- I started my life with nothing and I’ve still got most of it left

One of the trade union websites here in the UK posted information on how to properly take a Sickie on the day of the last England game, as you can probably imagine the Employers were none to impressed!! You can see the webpage here CC D70 50mm f1.8 (hooray!) - 28-80mm f? (booo!) Sigma 14mm (hooray-ish) SB600 (double hooray!) Manfrotto 0055b Nikon SLR lenses - New UK Booster Seat law explained
 definately watching!!
looks like croatia and japan will get a draw... i would rather croatia loose though, gives us a better chance in going through to the next stage.
We've got Shane Warne helping out with commentry on our TV (ITV). He looks like he's waring lipstick and eyemakeup??
Good luck guys CC D70 50mm f1.8 (hooray!) - 28-80mm f? (booo!) Sigma 14mm (hooray-ish) SB600 (double hooray!) Manfrotto 0055b Nikon SLR lenses - New UK Booster Seat law explained
Really, Really, REALLY unlucky guys, you should have been three if not four goals to the good in that game.
You made Brasil look very average. CC D70 50mm f1.8 (hooray!) - 28-80mm f? (booo!) Sigma 14mm (hooray-ish) SB600 (double hooray!) Manfrotto 0055b Nikon SLR lenses - New UK Booster Seat law explained
Bit of a shame we didn't even score Still at least we were not too embarrassed by say 6-0 Canon 20D and a bunch of lovely L glass and a 580EX. Benro tripod. Manfrotto monopod. Lowepro and Crumpler bags. And a pair of Sigma teleconverters, and some Kenko tubes. http://www.dionm.net/
... bugger!! Nevermind. We had chances, and really should have taken them. I hope Kewell gets fit again soon, we looked so much more dangerous when he came on in the second half. If it wasn't for that last soft goal, I would have accepted 1-0 as a pretty good result. Though I suppose I would rather see us go down fighting and trying to score goals than shut up shop and try to "only" have a 1-0 loss. Brazil weren't 100% on their game either, we weren't far off them!! So it comes down to Croatia.. A draw would see us through to the second round.
