Hi all

Just lashed out and finally bought a Canon 350D and hence have been ushered to this forum to help me develop my skills (thanks Slider)

Some of you may know me from Overlander Forum

So Hi to everyone and I lookforward to chatting with you all at some time or another...

It's great to have a Queenslander from outside the SE megapolis. We have a few from FNQ, but not too many that I can recall from CQ.

Welcome to the forum. I'd suggest you go read the FAQ and maybe mosey on over to the Canon Coral. If you want to put images in your posts, then this and this may be useful.

This forum does certainly seem to be free of the brand wars. The 350D is a very good cam and a friend just bought one too and is very happy with it. He asked me if he could borrow one of my lenses shortly after the purchase. I'm kinda glad he went the Canon route now! :lol:
