D50 price at Ted's Chatswood Chase

Just received a piece of junk mail from Ted's that announced that they are selling the D50 + Nikkor 18-55 lens + Nikkor 70-300 G for a total of $1499 at their Chatswood store...
Offer valid until 18th September or until sold out...
Sounds like a pretty good deal to me...

I think the 70-300G is an incentive thing, like the 'ol $200 cashback the D70 had awhile back. You have to send away and wait for it to arrive

Thsi offer has been running for few weeks now and at any stores or Nikon resellers.
Send in the claim form and wait for 2-4 weeks for the lens to be shipped.

It's a bullshit offer from Ted's perpective. Nikon are giving the 70-300G away to purchasers of the D50 + 18-55 kit lens.
