Your choice...

I dont know how youe have doen it, but looks interesting. I would lift up a bit levels for cyans so texture would be more visible. Now effect is too subtle to hit at first sight.

It looks that is really brokes, isnt it? :)

Just a thought what if there would be posibility to put a guy behind and make his portrait? :)

K.Polak

Yet again I am amazed by the colour quality from the D50 John. The lens looks to be a very capable unit as well :D

Thanks, Chris.

I couldn't be happier with how it performs, especially for the $$$$. Decent kit and the magnificent images posted on the forum has inspired me to lift my game so its all good.

Just won a 50mm f1.8 on ebay, looking forward to playing with that. :D

Cheers, John D

Hope that more people get out there and get a "broken" image together for this theme.

Here is my effort. Hopefully the snail did not die invain.

Broken Through...

Over the last few months, we've been renovating our house, adding another floor on top... We've finally reached the stage where they break through the walls and ceilings to put the staircase in...

You wouldn't believe the amount of dust in the house...
I'm keeping my camera and kit in the car until they've finished...

Leek, you should offer to help them out with a blow job from the rocket ;)

Hi,

This thread hasn't been too busy this month, everybody too busy with Challenge 7. Finally found something, I broke this glass while taking it out of the dishwasher

Image

Taken with D70s, 50/1.4, 4.5A, 1/1000S.

Not much PP, just cropped the base of the glass out, was just sitting on a retaining wall.

Ah well, some good things come out of mishaps  , got a photo for this thread.

Cheers,

radar

Very nice Blackwater... Great concept

There seems to be a halo around the pencil though and almost some ghosting that looks like the lines on the paper have been erased??? How did you do that?

haha phew i thought i screwed up or something ^^

Umm the halo...i just used the blur tool...before adding filter i randomly ran the blur tool around.

ps thanks for the comment leek :D

OK, a disappointing number for the October challenge... Time for Krystian Polak to cut & paste the rules into a new thread and set us another challenge for November...
I'll put together a gallery of the October entries soon...
