Inspired by xerebus, I decided to try out some still life glass shots.
Results are these.

Would appreciate your comments and critiques and suggestions.

Fantastic Matt - all of them - but would crop the right hand side on the first to get rid of the blue(!)

				Matt
These work fantastically well although the busy-ness of the last one doesn't work for me as well as the elegant simplicity of the first two. Definitely crop the first one like Chris said.
I'd be curious to know more about the images (like lens used & lighting techniques). These are beautiful.

Beautiful colour, in particular number two. I think the blue in the first interferes with the image both on the side and in the thicker glass at the bottom left.
Number three is good but number two is very nice. Overall the colour effect is fantastic.
Cheers,
Terry

Thanks guys for the comments, I appreciate them.
I was going to actually clone out the blue on the first one, decided against it and posted. I think its detracting too. I didnt actually think about cropping it off!!

Peter the lighting technique was so simplistic I'm almost ashamed to tell. I had a table lamp diffused by tissue paper behind a see through A4 folder.
Kit lens, f/11 I think, about about 0.5 seconds.

These are delicate and beautiful - goes to show you don't need fancy equipment to get creative and quality results!

Matt I think these are just sooo beautiful. I love the colours and the elegance of each image and, while it is true that the 3rd photo is not as simple as the others, to me, it has a really "arty" look in its composition which I appreciate, so I just love it anyway. I think these are as good as you would see in any Vogue-type magazine.

Many thanks for all your nice comments guys.
Neeper, the background was just an A4 see through document folder that I stood up in front of the table lamp. Nothing fancy at all. I was searching round the house for something to diffuse the light and this was the first thing I found.
Cheers again guys, really appreciate your comments.
