Mic .......yes and yes........I had to get in on the English thing as I am half English, not sure which half, the pix at the bottom is shot out side at the Black Rabbit in 2003, some where in Northfolk England. Self pix shot with a nikon 4500. The print on canvas looks good but I am still getting my profiles for the printer worked out, looks like a bit of a spend coming up to get better results.
Cheers

Edit: maybe chris can help with location

i like this as an art piece
i think the DOF is a bit too shallow in them, but that is all a matter of preference

The depth of field is very shallow as it is an art piece, ...... also to show to members that you can make something interesting out of almost nothing..........
enjoy

BP, I am at home on my Mac now and just wanted to say again. I really love this

My sort of image, let us know how it turns out on canvas & cost.
Well done again, on my Mac it looks even better than before.
Mic

I think thats true Creativeness if there is such a word ( Greg B ) will judge me on this

To turn something like a old piece of wood & to use Camera, Lens & Imagination
Thats good.
No I havent been drinking or popping pills either.

Big Pix - I like the image a lot, but I find the frame color a little bright and distracting for my taste. (But then admittedly, I am not exactly the best person at choosing colors for stuff.) I also like the top and bottom pictures more than the center one. I find it kind of boring and since it takes center stage IMO it should have a little more detail to hold your eye longer.
Still a great poster that I would be proud to claim as my own! Nice job.

BP, I like your composition very much. Curious about the centre image as the DOF angle is at odds with the grain of the wood and IMHO seems to throw it out of perspective: How did you achieve that?

Thanks for the coments.........Chris thanks, you got my memory going and the pub is just near Arundel Castle the home of the Duke of Norfolk.
Re the colour background, this in print form on canvas is not as bright as on screen, and does look much better when up large, as I block mount my canvas, and it matches other's on my walls.
The DOF was done shooting at 5.6 with the lens out to the closest focus and just going along the log and fing an interesting focus point.
cheers

big pix, very interesting images. Amazing how your eye can be drawn into what would normally be a fairly mundane subject. Great texture, don't go much for the frames though.
Cheers

Mundane subjects made interesting with a little thought and cropping done with the camera and not with
PS make great pix's, these are within every one's reach. Coloured backgrounds are a personal thing, to have or not to have, I am matching other pix's on my wall.
cheers
PS thanks for the comments, I am looking at a background color change
