The last one is a clear standout, great use of the OOF window, the lighting and pose are dramatic. I'm mixed about the shadow on the outstretched hand, but this is my pick. #3 is also good, but not the same quality at the last IMHO.

sorry Dan, this is my third time here...

I dont know if the first two, I hate because of the gothic look (cant stand that personally), I'm trying to see past that, and look at your side of the work, but, nothing stirs...

I do like your use of the window panes, as a shadow in the last. much better background that the round window you have used before, were you can see the neighbours house.

sorry, but I am two old to appreciate goth/emo/suicidal look, :D

hmm, then that leaves the CD one. nearly, but not there. I think that corner is good, but too many CDs, or perhaps too cramped for so many CDs. Like the idea (reminds me of some awesome pics CHarlie took of Bonnie with pink balloons on pink seamless).

your work is very high standard, keep up the sharing, and the experimentation.

kind regards,
Bruce

:?

Ok i have to say it now that it has been mentioned twice, this was NOT a Goth inspired look.....the themes were "Cold Blue Lips" "Metalics" " Silver tones" and "Smokey Eyes - Bardot 60s style".............hardly Goth, i have NEVER seen a goth wear a silver dress??

Anyhow.........thanks for the observations......all be it confusing ones.....i must have misread this shoot, i didnt see it till it has been pionted out :(
lol

#1 - oppressive atmosphere. Shadows tend to overpower the image.

#2 - Very awkward pose and the look on the models face does nothing to enhance this image

#3 - This is my favourite - simple pose and a classic look

#4 - The shadow on the hand spoils this image for me

I didn't really pick up a goth vibe with the series, though the PP is improving. My only comment is that the location of your shoots all seem to be the similar if not the same. All that's changing is the subject, make up and outfits. You might be getting a tad too comfortable with these familiar surroundings and as a suggestion, consider something different.

Well i am sorry but i don't have a studio yet (having one built for $25,000 - extension to my house - will be ready in 6 months cant wait - ANY SYDNEY DSLR members will be welcome to use it as well :) ) and these girls want to use these backgrounds and the are paying me so i give them what they want, i do however agree, i cannot wait to get out in the open, i have a series of sunrise shoots booked and i cant wait.........
