This could look more impressive if you took the R/H foliage,flipped it and then planted on the L/H side.
Get rid of the walkway and people. Of coarse you have to be into that sort of thing. Nice image as is though. ![]() Life is

Well captured! The position of the sun behind the head really adds to it - almost like there's a halo appearing on that ugly face...

clever shot and I bet the sun position was no accident - definately go with the full foliage background although the people do add that element of perspective showing just how huge this statue is . May also be worth burning/darkening the sunlight area on the base as I find the bright bits draw the eye away from the stone texture and curve detail in the legs. Haven't been there but is it possible to get a shot from higher up - I bet the face detail would be worth the effort ? Would also love to see it finished Deb T
