Shield Bug

Here's a quick one I just took to test using my TC-201 with the Micro 60mm. I wasn't even sure it would work.

I only got one shot of the shield bug before it flew off. This was under exposed and I would have liked to have positioned it better.

a small whip for this fellow....... nice capture...... if you are using Nikon NX, use the upoint and lighten an area of the background just behind the bug. This will lift him out of the background and be more pronounced

But it doesn't have gills or fins Andrew.
Nice to see you take macros in the garden like the rest of us.
Nice bug also.
