Hi James,
This is a nice sunrise but I find the foreground a little too dark, which may be 'fixed' with some curves/level adjustment in photoshop. Either that, or a crop from the bottom up to reduce the amount of darkness in the image.
Did you use any kind of filter on this image? A circular polarizer may have helped reduce the significant glare in it.
On the side, does anyone know if there is a way to direct link a pbase image into a thread here or is it simply not possible?

Nice job! Everyone loves a grand sunset but after seeing a few you then start to realise that sunsets make great backgrounds for something in the foreground. Consider a beautiful girl/motorbike/borzois/prize chicken/new saab etc. Of course you will need a touch of flash to light the foreground subject and balance it against the sunset. That's the way to value-add a setting sun pic and make everyone sit up and take notice.
