Like the movement portrayed in the second and third! The smoke following on the third is really good too!

The fourth one I'd like to see a bigger version of, I realy do like the up close and personal feel to it.

I didn't know the Police sponsored drifting? I thought drifting sponsored the Police...

Great series David!

Dave, good shots but these boys need to step it up a notch and generate more smoke. Here is an example from AIR a couple of weeks ago..

Thanks, The police (stickered Vehicle) has recently been bought from South Aus. The Police down here dont seem to want to get in and be part of the sport.

Here is a larger version.

Hi there Big V,

Yes these guys do need to step it up a notch, usually they are not too bad but it appeared they were having an off day yesterday. They need to be doing things like this-

smoke ain't everything 8)

i dug all of those shots, more than the ones with smoke.

personally, i prefer shots with a little 'tuft' of smoke... so you can see what they are doing, but it doesnt look like they are trying to be muscle car heroes.

everyone in aus needs to step it up, the japs shit on us in driftin.

I particularly like top right and bottom left. The sense of speed and dynamics in both is excellent.

Nice shots David! Again, your technique is spot on!

To answer the question about the lack of smoke, these guys are pushing far less HP than the S15 pictured in that example. They still give it a fair shake for tools that they have to work with.

Any shots of Mookie and the rollover Dave?

Sorry Rainey, I had left before that happened. From what I have heard he is one lucky bloke to walk away from it.

it is good to watch when the guys/girls are having a good day and can be quite comical when there not. It's a great event to practice the panning.
