No localised PP - all global.

Everyone knows the story - here is my take on it:

A big boat in the carpark:

Great shots of a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I really like the second shot also, great selective focus. I also like the angle of number 1, it really makes it look like the boat has parked nose in.

Nice!

They are all great images of a now oft-shot subject :)

They are going to have a very hard time getting that off the beach. The extraction might make for an interesting photo opportunity too.

Thanks guys. I wonder if they will ever get it off!

Maybe they should just drain the fuel and oil from it and leave it there. It would surely make a good sandbank for an awesome left wave!

Heath I like the first 3 in reverse order. I was tempted to go in and take some pics but figured it would be chaotic. Thanks for sharing these.

Great Shots. I like 4,2,1 the best. It looks very high & dry. It will be interesting to see whether the salvage crew can get it off the beach - it certainly looks like it will be a big ask

Man, these are bloody great shots, love them all! How far is newcastle from Kingsgrove anyway? I'd love to snap this monster :)

Each shot shows that you know what you want, and how to get it via the the camera.

Top stuff.

I'm sure anyone who wants to shoot it will have time. I don't see it going anywhere anytime soon.

Great shots of a topical event. They are quite different from most of them I have seen. Are you tempted to "donate" them to News Limited?

Well I have no use for them myself. I don't have any contacts there so have no idea of how to do so.

It must have been windy Heath, even the generator and lights blew over.
I like the way #1 works.

I like the first shot (actually like them all), as the ship is parked somewhat between the two disabled parking signs.

Cheers

Not quite as obviously as the pic in the SHM the other day, would've liked to have thought of that idea. Was just luck to even have the signs there in mine.
