Craig, interesting...

The B&W shot is great - lighting, pose, reflections in sunnies, all very good.

What PP did you do for that one?

Thanks Chris :)

I was using Cutout in CS2 for the geometric ones.

The Black and White, was using Sheri's Sketch Action dl'ed from

I like you as a Cubist work of art there Craig.

Now all you need to do is find a few naked women and you can make your own Les Demoiselles D'Avignon... except with you in the mix.

Criag .... nice

I do like the B&W ... I do think you've taken it just past the edge in terms of sharpening though.

Looks bloody good though.

Your right I had a closer look and it is oversharpened, its fast resize action doesn't suit these sorts of works its made for me more standard images.

The last one is the best IMO. Its very easy to take that cutout filter too far, but in this shot you've managed to apply the filter and keep some nice detail in the teeth, hair and eyes.

Daniel I have to confess with the last one the cutout alone didn't seem to work for me, so I took the same shot and used some other filters and processing to get a fine line sketch and then did some fiddling with the two layers until I got a result I liked that had the overal layout and colour of the cutout, but also had the finer details of the sketch.

Craig, very nice, the second is very interesting. In the first I think you have invented a new style of camouflage, maybe try and sell it to the aus army to replace auscam?

The first is pretty abstract looking. Don't mind it too much.

The second, I think you've lost a bit there as the blend seems to give too much of a 2 dimensional feel to it for me.

The third I really like, the pose, the conversion, exposure, Gary is right on second looks it is a little too sharpened, perhaps doing the sharpening when you have resized for this one? Still this is the best of the four for me!

The fourth I think works better than the second. Shame about the highlight area on the RHS.

Great work Craig!

These are actually old photos that I've decided to play with since RedBubble has me feeling all creative at the moment.

The lighting setup for that shot was single SB-800 off camera with SC-29 boncing of our yellow walled hallway. The black backdrop is material hanging off a door frame. I'll post the orginal (i'd shared it before).
