I like this picture, it is excellent. It has good colour and it is sharp and dynamic. It makes me think I have a long way to go yet before I can produce something remotely like it.

I thought pigeons were "flying rats". I don't mind seagulls, especially as they are native. Anyway...
Great shot and well captured. It is a pity there isn't a little more sharpness in the eyes and beak, but considering it is flying, you have done very well.

........ thanks guys...... my Bigma arrived just 15 minutes ago, so I am off to the wharf....... but it is blowing a gale out there and I am nice and snug next to a heater....... maybe my 1.4 converter has arrived at the Post office, good reason to go out....
