shot from a local headland..... not a good swell, but this bloke was having a nice afternoon........ shot with a 80-200 with a 2x manual converter, manual focus, hand held.... reason the shots are a little soft

Given the focal length and handheld they still look really good. What I really like is the perspective, side on to the wave. Will you be going back another day with tripod/monopod to rest on?

when the waves get a bit bigger and with a 500mm....... all the headlands here are great to shoot from......
