Can I ask if you have two individual threads for the one pic?

Not sure what you mean by "threads". I had the background shot (one of many) and then basically (and painstakingly) used magic wand in elements to copy plane. Normally I would rotate or twist the plane to some degree but in this case the aircraft approach and angle of the beach lined up well.
There is a major structural element missing in the plane, no one seems to have spotted it as yet!
Thanks for the comment,
Max
Spot the missing part???

Ozimax, do you mean for the next challenge? If that is the question, I would say this definitely exceeds "sharpening and adjusting levels" though MHD should have the final say. Very nice image.

Okay, an example of a thread is this topic you're posting under here "Are these allowed?" where you post something and everyone else posts under that heading in relation to that topic... that's a thread. We have many threads on this board, as you can well imagine.
But from the looks of it, with your "MK II" thread based on the same name, you posted the image in two threads which was unnecessary, in my opinion.
You can post more than one image in a thread, hence why I asked and have now locked your "MK II" thread.

You'll have to pardon my ignorance as I am a newish member here, but I didn't know there was such a thing as a challenge!
I will have to see what the rules are before entering a photo. Are there categories for heavily manipulated stuff? Having said that, most of my stuff is plain old photos, but mucking around in
PS is a lot of fun.
Max

If you combined two images, it does exceed the guidelines.

Of course this type of manipulation is OK (not for challenge) in fact I have posted pics on this forum that don’t basically exist - just as yours doesn’t - nice comp by the way

Sorry Ozimax, there have been a few questions floating around a"such as are these allowed for the comp" etc. I misunderstood. In case you are interested here is the challenge details with some nice prizes.

G'day,
Looks like a hair raising approach... There are even worse approaches than this though in the real world! Check:
