Here's a clubman going through the turn 2 gravel trap at Wakefield a couple of weekends ago. All shots were D200 + Sigma 120-300 f/2.8. Pretty happy with the shots, but interested as to what people think of the different crops. #1 is pretty close to full frame I think?

Wow!

Trent the 1st is great :D

I am increasingly impressed with this lens. Raskill puts it to great use, and cadwell on potn uses one on his 1d's and produces amaging work also. Maybe I should consider one :D

Yeah it's a pretty nice piece of glass. It's pretty heavy though, makes the 70-200 VR seem like a toy!

I wan't really considering one, but saw one in mint condition going for a song on Ebay. :D The only thing I don't like about it is that the AF is hit and miss when using a TC17EII (modified so the lens will mount). Annoying, because it's very sharp even with the TC! I just ordered a Sigma 1.4x so we'll see how that goes.

You're welcome to play with mine if you're at the T&T at WSID on the weekend.

Get out the bucket and spade, its time to make a sand castle! That poor bugger is buried deep in there, definately a nice clear/sharp set of shots. Well done!

Trent, 1 & 4 are big winners for me.

Number 1 for me. Love the sand flying off the rear and the trailing dust. On my uncalibrated LCD at work, the photos looks slightly dark. Was it a cloudy day?

White helmet + dark visor reminds me of The Stig.

I wonder what he was listening to?

They are great cars to drive - I remember taking one for a few laps around Eastern Creek and I couldn't get the smile off my face for ages.

Great photos.

Nice mate, right place right time, right skills!

Nice colour and contrast. Did you speak to the driver and sell the images?

:D

Great work Trent, amazing shots... seems like the Sigma is one nice piece of kit.
