..its probably terrible English for the title but it rhymed ....

Anyway,went out to Wisemans Ferry early Saturday and took the picture below. I am quite fond of it but my wife isn't the biggest fan...so I thought I throw it out to the public and see whether you like the colour version, the b&w version or neither.....

Images taken with D200 and 70-200 VR @70mm, f/5.5, 1/350s, spot meter ISO100...

If I had to take one, it would be the colour but I'm afraid I agree with your wife

The colour version deserves a little boost in PP, the light is pretty cool here

What do you like about the photo? Only interesting thing in it for me are the light rays (which are only semi obvious) and the highlights of the tree tops.

Yi-P...I did try and bring out some colour, but only basic PP...issue here is that it was taken with a zoom, slightly into the light and a fine fog still rising...so basically it looked as presented here...I will try some layering tonight.

Piro...great question....What I like about it is the abstract nature of it...the fact that you only see some of the tree tops...you can see the tree trunks but not fully..almost like an impressionist painting ....But maybe I have been taking too many of those green pills.....
