Well, my 30D & 70-200 F4 lens has arrived. I haven't had much time to to take photos over the last week but here are a few efforts from today. I really have not much idea about this lens as yet. It is so sharp and fast compared to the old Tamron that it is a little hard to get used to. I will need some practice I think...

The 30D has a time lapse feature (well, not really...); either that or Sydney airport is full... :wink:

The Mrs and me this afternoon in a gale at Coffs southern breakwall, beautiful light but hurricanish wind...

Actually CP, I am a past Qantas employee but no, they don't sponsor me. In fact, they don't even give me any lousy upgrades! Oh well, corporate greed and all that...

Thanks Colin, I would like to have some more time to learn the thing, hopefully over Easter I will get some more time to get comfortable with the Canon. So far so good. Cheers, Ozi.

Congratulations for making the switch to canon. There will be a difference in high ISO noise. Great surf shot.. did you get the 70-200 f4 IS ?

Couldn't afford it at this stage, iI'll just borrow Piro's F2.8 IS for a few months!
