Is you monitor calibrated?.... good proceedjust playing around with a piece of white paper and a packet of mentos for that high key look

Very nice, Keith!
But obviously you missed Monday's Mythbusters episode, otherwise you'd know that for "playing around" with mentos you need a bottle of diet cola... ![]() Cheers Steffen. lust for comfort suffocates the soul
Looks nice.
And works a treat for a test on my new monitor! ![]() Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

Difference between a good street photographer and a great street photographer.... Removing objects that do not belong... happy for the comments, but .....Please DO NOT edit my image..... http://bigpix.smugmug.com Forever changing
None of my screens are calibrated but I can see the Mentos, and its a really cool affect.. (there isn't a white DP challenge on atm is there?, coz this looks like a blue ribbon to me)
Edit: Oops, 104th in a Circle theme.. ouch. I think it suits white better.
I would say that a lot of their monitors aren't calibrated so they just saw a white page and they do like their over saturated shots there ![]() and it was only just a quick last min entry with little planing but lots of care in shooting.... but just wait till they have a high key challenge
I'm glad my monitor is calibrated, but getting old to not reveal certain highlight details, or shadow details should that be

How ironic - my Huey turned up in my PO box today and I had *just* calibrated prior to launching my browser to visit the forums
![]() Great pic, it does indeed look significantly better calibrated than not! Now to look at some of my own pics *lol* Cheers Leigh (PS Thanks to DaveB for the prompt delivery & discount on the Huey)
